Singing Trees Keep is a teaching homestead owned by Angela and Sang de Krieger. They have a passion in promoting food security and independence through providing products to the community and offering workshops for those who seek to "do" themselves. On April 19th they are offering a Chicken Processing Workshop from 8am-12pm, with an additional "whole bird" breakdown workshop following lunch at a discounted price for attendees of the chicken processing workshop. Price is $99 for the workshop, one child with an adult (12-17yrs) is $49, and the add-on workshop is $29. If staying for the second workshop - you have an hour for lunch (bring your own or run out for it). You will receive education on regenerative grow out practices, humane dispatching, step by step processing, final packaging, and take home one rotationally pasture raised, GMO free, processed by you chicken (value of ~$36.00).
